Well, she's finally here!!! After a fairly short (11 1/2 hours - I guess that's short comparatively speaking!) and uncomplicated labor, Gracie came into the world on March 17 weighing in at a whopping 8 lb 12oz! She has a full head of hair and big blue eyes, although we won't know for a while if they will stay that way. She is such a strong little girl! Right after she was born and Jonathan placed her on my chest, she raised her head up and looked around! She's extremely alert and is always taking everything in. She especially loves ceiling fans! She sleeps really well, only waking up (usually) twice a night for feedings. What a blessing that is! And we're STILL exhausted! I can't imagine how people cope when their babies don't sleep at least most of the night. We have truly been so blessed! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. The Lord got us through the labor just fine and Gracie is a big, healthy, happy baby!

Just wanted to post a picture of the crib bedding Jonathan and I picked out for Gracie's room! We are so happy with it! It's so soft and girly without being fussy! The colors are lavender, sage and white.
