Hello everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful fall. I am walking steadily now and love my new sense of independence. I'm getting pretty fast and mommy and daddy have a hard time keeping up sometimes! I love to giggle and make other people giggle with me. My favorite activities these days include going to the park to play on the swing and slide. It's an especially good day if I see a dog that I can say "ooo oo" to and see if they bark back! I love dogs and wish mommy wasn't allergic. I also love going to the children’s zoo, where "Pippy" the cow lives and the small goats run around. I try to hug them but they are too fast! Daddy made a bunch of meat and we had some family and friends over for a fun bbq. In October, I spent the day with Granma and Papa in Omaha while mommy and daddy went to a husker game. Grandma and Papa gave me a husker cheerleader uniform that I loved so much I wore it as my costume on Halloween. I looked pretty cute!

Miss Aubrey is changing every day it seems! She said her first word last week, "dada". It melted our hearts! She is eating solids wonderfully, although she doesn't like fruit or meat. She takes after her daddy and snubbs bananas. She mainly eats veggies, rice, and potatoes for now. I see that she has another tooth that came in, which makes 3! Our little baldy is finally getting some hair and she can crawl backwards. I think she will begin crawling in all directions before we know it. We are in trouble when that happens. Aubrey is a very curious and active little one. She is such a happy baby and definately is our little bundle of joy! It's hard to believe she is almost 8 months old. What a sweetheart.
