Had our 37 week ultrasound today. Found that the amniotic fluid was extremely low at 3 cm. Joshua currently weighs 7 lbs 10ozs. Since my doctor is out of town until next week one of her partners will have to evaluate my chart and determine when I will be induced. So hopefully by this time next week Joshua will be here.

Woke up with cramps that turned into contractions. Called in the office and was told to go to the Maternity Center. Went in and was monitored for 2 hours, contractions were 4-5 minutes apart. So doctor on call removed cerclage and checked cervix for progress. No progress was made so I went home to rest and to wait until Joshua decides to come.

Have ultrasound on Tuesday 12/08/09 to determine how much Joshua weighs and to see how he is growing.

Had my ultrasound because the doctor was worried that Joshua is measuring big. He is in the 97th percentile of growth, he currently weighs 3lbs-13ozs and his heartbeat was 157bpm. He is a little big as his gestational age has him due 12/20/09 as opposed to 12/28/09 which was predicted from his first ultrasound.

Other than that he is growing well and is looking good.

Received my Glucose Test Results today. Everything looks good and I passed with flying colors. Another concern resolved. I am very happy that Joshua is moving more than ever and is gaining weight normally.

Had my Glucose test yesterday, will find out the results in a few days to see if I am at risk of having gestational diabetes or not. Other than that I received my 6th progesterone shot. The baby is doing well the doctor had to chase him down in there in order to hear the heartbeat which was 150bpm. He is doing well and getting more active by the day.

I now have to start seeing the doctor weekly for her to check the baby's progression. We will have another ultrasound in 3 weeks to check the growth of the baby.

Routine checkup to monitor the Baby. He is measuring great according to the dotor. He is very acitve...kicking and moving alot where I can't sleep. But at least he is happy in there. His heartbeat was 130bpm which the doctor said is good as well as they like it between 120-160bpms. I also received a flu shot to prevent me from getting sick this fall before the baby is due.

I will take my glucose test at my next appointment in 2 weeks to check for gestational diabetes. Hopefully and Prayerfully everything will work out.

Started taking my 17-hydroxyprogesterone caproate shots to prevent Pre-Term Labor. I have to have a shot every week until my 36 or 37 (November 30th or December 7th) week when they take out the stitches from the cerclage. Let's pray these keep the baby in longer.

We finally have a name for the baby...after much debate and thought we decided to go with the grandmother's suggestion of Joshua Jesse, which stands for "God is my salvation or God rescues" and "Wealth or gift" becuause he is truly my gift from God and I added in Harrison, which is my father's middle name and my Great-GrandFather's first name. We are so excited as it makes it more real that we are having a baby.

Had my doctor's visit yesterday and everything looked good. I measured 23cm and I am 22 weeks 2days so that was great. The baby was moving like crazy...he is very active in there. His heartbeat sounded really good as well his bpm was 150, which is really good.

The doctor said I will start having appointments every 2 weeks from now to I deliver so that she can continue to montior me and the baby's progress.

Had my 2nd Semester Ultrasound yesterday and everything looked with the baby. The heart beat was 158bpm. The weighed 10 oz. and had a pee pee. So I am officially having a BOY!! I am so excited and very happy he is doing well. Now all I have to is choose a name.

Had my Cerclage surgery to sew my cervix closed due to an incompetent cervix. Everything went better than I expected. I was nervous about the spinal, but it could barely feel it, virtually pain free procedure with very short recovery. I am very happy there are ways to help women carry a baby when there body is not capable. Now I wait to start my pre-term labor shots that I will take weekly from week 18 thru week 36. Anything to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. I am currently 15 weeks and 5 days.

Received my NT Scan Results today and the baby is great. I have a 1 and 10000 chance for my baby to have a genetic disorder. I am so happy and feel very blessed that my baby is okay.

Today I go in for my preoperative bloodwork in preparation of my cerclage procedure on Friday, July 10th. I am extremely nervous but and willing to do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby.

Today I am 15 weeks and 2 days.
